AS TORNADO SEASON APPROACHS, IT`S CRITICAL TO HAVE A PLAN IN PLACE FOR YOUR HOME, OFFICE, SCHOOL, CHURCH, AND PLACES OF BUSINESS. KNOW THE PLAN AND FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE BEST SAFETY ZONES.

PREPARE A KIT THAT INCLUDES A RADIO, FIRST AID SUPPLIES, WATER AND RATIONS, AND A POST-EMERGENCY MEETING PLACE.

GO TO A BASEMENT OR CELLAR.

FIND THE LOWEST CENTRAL LOCATION IN THE BUILDING. SUCH AS A HALLWAY WHERE THERE ARE NO WINDOWS.

IF YOU ARE ON THE ROAD AND UNABLE TO GET TO SHELTER, GET UNDER A BRIDGE, OR IN A DITCH. DO NOT STAY IN THE CAR IF YOU HAVE AN OPTION.
